Western Civilizations: Creation to the Renaissance, covers events of the history of the western world up to about the time of the Lutheran Reformation. This course is directed toward the study of ancient civilizations and how God’s hand is evident in shaping the course of human history to prepare the way for the birth of Jesus, God’s Son. How the message of His Son has been transmitted across cultures and nations is likewise a topic of interest to this course. This course will also spend considerable time on the development of European history and how it impacted the development of the western world.
